- Learn about these subfields of geography: environmental geography, regional geography, cultural geography, agricultural geography, population geography, urban geography, and cartography.
- Comprehend both the theory behind geographic thought and the applied aspects of geography.
- Learn placenames and map locations as a building block for geographic study.
- Understand the integrated human and ecological factors influencing our habitation of the Earth.
