Illinois Campus Compact
MISSION:
The mission of Illinois Campus Compact for Community Service is to foster, promote, organize and develop awareness of and involvement in community service, including volunteerism and service linked to the curriculum by students enrolled at institutions of higher education in the state of Illinois.
ICCCS is a coalition of 25 colleges and universities committed to:
-increasing campus-wide participation in community and public service and integrating community service as a valued element of undergraduate education.
-enhancing students' sense of responsibility, citizenship, and awareness of the community while reinvigorating higher education's concern for improving the quality of life in our society.

WHAT CAN ILLINOIS CAMPUS COMPACT DO FOR YOUR CAMPUS?
-consult with members to assist in developing and strengthening community service and service learning;
-provide training and professional development opportunities for students, faculty, and staff involved in community service and service learning;
-offer grants for faculty, for students, for community service directors, and for campus-community dialogue,
-publish a quarterly newsletter connecting Illinois schools with each other and what is happening nationwide;
-facilitate meetings and conference calls for member institutions interested in collaborating with each other.
